Hyderabad Waste Logistics Solver
Multi-Depot VRP Optimisation (3rd Prize ElanNVisionX)
Designed a custom routing algorithm and developed an interactive spatial data dashboard to optimize urban resource logistics and municipal waste collection in Hyderabad. Resolves multi-depot Vehicle Routing Problems (VRP) using spatial OSM data. Awarded 3rd Prize in ElanNVisionX Competition 2026.
- Developed with Python using a hybrid GA-SA (Genetic / Simulated Annealing) solver
- Parsed OSMnx spatial networks and mapped with Leaflet.js dashboard
- QGIS integration for zoning and geographical pre-processing
- Estimated 23% reduction in route distance for urban municipal logistics
